Now I usually do not see movies when they first premier, due to the hype or hate expressed by the studios or movie goers. I finally saw Blade Runner 2049 and for fans of the original it is a must see. This film is visually amazing with a story that pays homage to Blade Runner (1982) and holds its own as a stand alone film for those not familiar with Riddly Scott's ground breaking sci-fi classic. I honestly do not understand the negativity that was associated with the film during it's initial release. Blade Runner 2049 gives answers to questions long debated, has a gripping dramatic story, superb special effects and sound, with a brilliant cast that kept interest throughout the film. If anyone had issues with this film I am very curious to know why?
I gave it 5 out of 5 planets
